Listing policy

What the directory vouches for — and what it does not

Listed servers are community-run copies of Worldspring at their own web addresses. We verify that the owner controls the address and that it answers as a Worldspring server. We do not review or control the code it runs — it may be modified, and its version of the game (including its login screen and everything you type there) is served by that operator, not by us.

Your identity is per-server: you'll have a separate character on each server you join, and the directory never passes tokens or saved data to a community server.

Enforcement

Fabricated player counts, impersonation of other servers, or malicious listing content get a server delisted and its host banned from re-registering. Reports and admin review are the enforcement loop: anyone can report a listing — every row on the server list has a Report link, as does each join page — reports never remove a server automatically, and repeated independent reports flag it for a human.

Server owners can delist their own server at any time with their registration token.
